Header
A header is a great way to increase horsepower, alter your sound output, and increase airflow out of the engine. A header is one of the easiest bolt-on accessories you can use to improve an engine's performance. The goal of a header is to make it easier for the engine to push exhaust gases out of the cylinders.

Painted Mild Steel
Manufactured using mandrel-bent, mild steel tubing and surface-ground, thick steel flanges, Pacesetter Headers are available with standard black painted finish. Each header undergoes an extensive preparation phase followed by two applications of the coating and a high-temp curing process. All PaceSetter Headers come with hardware, gaskets and illustrated instructions and are backed by a three-year warranty. Header bolts not included. Direct replacement of the stock exhaust manifold, header bolts up to the existing exhaust pipe. No cutting or welding required. Available from TurboTechRacing and many other online retailers.
Armor Coat
Manufactured using mandrel-bent, mild steel tubing and surface-ground, thick steel flanges, PaceSetter Headers are available with Armor Coat, a polished, high temperature, metallic-ceramic coating. Each header undergoes an extensive preparation phase followed by two applications of the coating and a high-temp curing process. The Armor Coat won't discolor like paint, chrome or dull finish coating, reduces underhood temperatures, resists rust and corrosion and is easy to keep clean. All PaceSetter Headers come with hardware, gaskets and illustrated instructions and are backed by a three-year warranty. Header bolts not included. Made from true 304 stainless steel, OBX headers are tuned and tested for maximum performance. Utilizing race proven designs from the runners to the collector, each header promises significant improvement over the stock system while still being fit for daily driving. All headers come with a limited lifetime warranty. Option for ceramic coating is available as well. Generally found on eBay as a Cavalier header.

RKSport's header was designed to increase torque and horsepower on vehicles equipped with the 2.4L. Our latest header was designed using 3D CAD technology and then tested in dozens of simulations to extract the maximum level of performance available with out negatively effecting daily drivability. Each header is crafted from 14 gauge mild steel, 3/8th inch flanges and incorporates proper placement for the oxygen sensor. The 16 inch long primaries were designed for maximum scavenging of exhaust gases as they leave the cylinder head. Scavenging is further induced in the secondaries for maximum flow efficiency and mid-range torque. (Pictured is Ecotec 2.2L - which is similar in design) Available at RKSport.
